About Us
Beaver Ridge Labradors is located in rural SE Minnesota. We breed Quality AKC Registered Labrador Retriever Puppies. We are a reputable, responsible, and devoted small hobby breeder. After working in the healthcare field for 25 + years and moving to the family farm, Sherree worked for a local breeder where she fell in love with the Labrador Retriever breed.
Our "Family of Labradors" are truly a big part of our lives and we can't imagine living without them. We consider all puppies born here as well as their adoptive familes to be a part of our "Labrador Family" too. |
Country Setting
|
.Our countryside setting, which is surrounded by bluffs, hills, and valleys, is an ideal place to raise and train our dogs. They have plenty of room to exercise, train, and just simply play with one another. There is also a small pond where they can enjoy swimming in during the hot summer months as well as a nearby large pond and stream we frequently use for training.

Though it's difficult to say goodbye to the puppies we've raised from birth ... we truly love making families and individuals happy as they look forward to the day they get to bring their new family member home. A smile speaks a thousand words.
When a new litter is born ... Sherree camps out in the puppy nursery during the whole birthing process and sleeps on a cot in the puppy nursery until the puppies turn 4 weeks old. She is mostly with the mom and newborn puppies for the first 48 - 72 hours after all the puppies are whelped (born). She makes sure that all the puppies are nursing properly and are getting enough colostrum / milk. Colostrum contains the necessary antibodies the puppies need shortly after birth and help build up an individual puppy's immunity.
We have had many referrals from family, friends, adoptive families, veterinarians, dog trainers (both obedience and service), and canine law enforcement officials. Special thanks to all.
